Answer
If you have sent a deposit from an unverified bank account, these funds cannot be booked into your account, unless you request for this new account to be verified. You can add this new account for verification under the 'Linked bank accounts' tab.
To return your payment we need to verify your deposit and thus ask that you send a proof of payment (copy of bank statement or online banking screenshot) showing all 5 of the following details:
- Your full name
- Your IBAN
- DEGIRO's IBAN
- Payment date
- Payment amount
Please note this information can be in different files but it is obligatory that we see all details.
Once this proof is received, it will be reviewed for approval and the funds will be sent back to your account.
