As a security requirement, you must have a phone number registered with us. This number is used to verify your identity when performing sensitive actions, such as changing your linked bank account. For this reason, we treat all requests to modify a registered phone number with particular care.
To update the phone number associated with your account, please send an e-mail to clients@degiro.com
from the e-mail address currently registered with us. Your e-mail must include the new phone number you wish to register and a selfie.
Your selfie must clearly show:
- Your uncovered face.
- A handwritten note displaying the date of your request.
Once we've verified these details, we'll call you on the new number to confirm the change.
